Join Deborah Barndt, York University; Chandra Maracle, Kakhwa’on:we/Real People Eat Real Food; Leticia Deawuo, Black Creek Community Farm; and Lauren Baker, University of Toronto for an interactive workshop and film screening. For the past three years, an intergenerational and intercultural production team has been filming the diverse food activities, geopolitical and ecological sites, and moments of encounter of a small group of interconnected farmers and food system advocates. We will view new footage and explore themes related to food sovereignty, agroecology and reconciliation.
