New College is committed to working with people who share our values, interests, and commitment to social justice, equity, and human rights. Major gift solicitations to corporations are done through a consultative process involving students, faculty, and staff. The vast majority of our donations come from alumni and individuals from the community.

No. The University of Toronto respects your privacy. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing and donor lists.

Can my employer match my gift?

You can double or triple the impact of your gift with the help of your employer.

There are hundreds of companies in North America that will match contributions made by their employees to U of T. Some will even match gifts contributed by spouses or retired employees.

Contact your Human Resources department to obtain a matching gift form and complete your portion. Then, include the form when you send in your gift to the university and we will take care of the rest. That’s all it takes to double the good you do!

Where can I find more information about the Presidents’ Circle, U of T’s donor recognition society?

The University recognizes all donations of $1,827 or more with membership in the Presidents’ Circle—a club for donors who reflect the leadership of our past presidents. It’s a unique opportunity to hear thought-provoking lectures by Canadian thinkers who are changing the way we look at the world, and to share ideas with other members, including the current President of the University of Toronto.
