A Look at Food Insecurity

Community Leaders focus on Barriers to Food Access

Join us at New College’s annual Alumni Speaker Series in our first event of 2020. Three speakers will discuss the problem of food insecurity in Canada including an exploration of the nature of the issue and the impacts including the relationship to health, communities most vulnerable to food insecurity and the intersection with race, and community leadership in fostering food access and food justice through urban agriculture. Develop a deeper understanding of the issues facing our city through this discussion.
