The Registrar’s Office provides an Academic Orientation program which begins as soon as students are admitted and extends into the week before classes begin in September. Other events and counselling services are offered throughout the academic session to assist students in making the transition to university.
The “New Students’ Guide”, produced by the Registrar’s Office and distributed with the Calendar and Timetable, provides practical reference material and instructions about course selection and timetabling, registration, degree and subject distribution requirements, grade point averages, financial planning, adjusting to university and a list of campus resources for all types of assistance.
The Registrar’s Office offers Academic Orientation Sessions for newly admitted students in the summer. They are a great opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into course enrolment and registration. Let us know by email which session you wish to attend.
