3)  Orientation Leaders (80-90):  Leaders are mainly responsible for guiding the first-year students throughout Orientation week.  They are paired up with another Leader and assigned a group of approximately 12-15 students.  Leaders are the first point of contact for incoming students, providing a knowledgeable and welcoming experience to New College and the University of Toronto.  Leaders are responsible for keeping track of their students, encouraging them to attend events, and for their general well being during the week.  Leaders must attend all Orientation Week events, including training sessions throughout the summer.

Applications:  forms can be found here and are due to the Office of Residence and Student Life by Monday, March 12 at 4pm.

4)  Orientation Troopers (20-25):  Troopers work closely with the Executive team in order to act as extra hands in the implementation and execution of Orientation Week events.  If you are unavailable during the summer, but still wish to be involved with Orientation in the Fall, this is the role for you!  Troopers help with everything including: set up and clean up, material distribution, handling deliveries, Orientation Kits, and serving food.  Like Leaders, Troopers are expected to attend all Orientation Week events.  However, because they are not assigned a group of students Troopers are expected to be a mobile welcoming committee, providing information or help to students and Orientation members as needed.  Without Troopers many events and activities would not be possible.

Applications:  forms can be found here and are due to the Office of Residence and Student Life by Monday, March 12 at 4pm.
