New College Student Computer Facilities (NCSCF) offers a full range of computing and printing services. It was established with funding from alumni donations and is now supported by student members of the College through their fees. Students are active in the planning, funding and administration of these labs. The NCSCF sites are located in the Don Ivey Library at 20 Willcocks and are supervised by a professional technician who is available for assistance.

While the 20-workstation Computer Lab in the College Library is dedicated to internet and e-mail usage, New College Student Computer Facilities (NCSCF) offers a full range of computing and printing services. Services Available:
New College Student Computing Facilities is available to New College members and other students currently registered at the University of Toronto. The Computer Lab and  Administrator’s office are located in the Library at 20 Willcocks, Users must have a computer account with New College.
We have over 25 Windows workstations in the main facility as well as laser printers including a colour laser printer Various types of popular applications and direct access to the Internet are available. Also offered on the network are a variety of language software applications, such as Japanese and Spanish. Teaching staff who are interested in setting up special software on the system to assist in instructing their courses should speak with Sharine Leung.
Printing:

Laser Printing services are available to account holders at 5 cents per page, 30 cents per page for colour printing.
Computer Accounts:

Only those who have set up an account with the NCSCF may use the computers and software at the New College site. To be eligible for an account, students must be currently registered at the University of Toronto. For New College members the user fee ($40) is included in the College membership fee; proof of membership is required to apply for an account. Non-members are charged $2.00 per day and should obtain information in Room 54B.
Applying for a Computer Account:
In order to get an account follow these instructions:
Obtain an “Application for Computer Account” form in New College Room 1024 in the Library at 20 Willcocks St,, complete it neatly and sign it.

Hand it into the office in  room 1024 inside the library.
You must present your Student Card and/or College membership card when applying.
