Well, New – I can’t believe it, but it’s here! This is my goodbye post.

I finished my exams and papers a little while ago, so this post is not only my final goodbye to the blog, but my final task at U of T. How crazy is that? I am trying to find ways to cope, so I am prolonging the writing of this, just to linger on my last moments at New a little longer.

I want to give a huge thank you to those of you who have kept up with the blog throughout the course of the year. It has been so much fun coming up with the topics for the blog, and getting to share it with all of you. It feels like this blog is my time capsule of my time here, as it has reflected many of the things I have gone through throughout not only the year, but throughout my entire undergraduate degree. I hope the weekly posts from Mina and me have guided you, made you laugh or made you feel connected to the College in some way.

I have been so lucky to not only have the opportunity to write for New College, but also have had the privilege of working with the most fantastic people. I have looked forward to going to the bi-weekly meetings with Mina and our supervisor, Kaitlin. We got to look at events that were happening around campus, brainstorm ideas and have so much fun while doing it. If one of us were short of ideas, someone else would chime in with encouragements. It sounds cheesy – but it was such a fun, supportive work environment – something I am so grateful for.

I feel like I could sit here all day rambling about what a fun job this was, how fantastic it has been to share my love of writing on this platform and how sad I am to see it end. To everyone who has kept up with the blog, thank you. I wish you all nothing but the best throughout finals, and the rest of your time here at New.

It has been so, so wonderful. I’ll always be reppin’ my green and gold.
