Setting up a New College VPN

Step 1: Right-click on your Network icon in your notification area
Step 2: Click “Open Network and Sharing Center”
Step 3: Select “Set up a new connection or network”
Step 4: Select “Connect to a workplace”
Step 5: Hit “Next”
If a window saying that you already have a connection appears
Step 5a: Check “No, create a new connection”
Step 5b: Hit “Next”
Step 6: Select “Use my Internet Connection (VPN)”
Step 7: In the field marked “Internet address” type “vpn.newcollege.utoronto.ca”
Step 8: In the field marked “Destination name” enter the name you want to give this connection
Step 9: Hit “Next”
Step 10: In the “User name” field, enter your New College Domain ID username
Step 11: In the “Password” field, enter your New College Domain ID password
Step 12: Hit “Connect”
