David Clandfield Scholarship in Scholarly Activism   

Awarded, based on academic achievement, to a student majoring in Equity Studies entering the fourth year of study who demonstrates the potential to contribute to social justice issues.

Janet Lambert Book Prize in Critical Studies in Equity and Solidarity  

Awarded to a fourth year, or graduating student, who has excelled, and made a contribution to the Critical Studies in Equity and Solidarity Program. No application necessary. Awarded at graduation.

Terry Buckland Memorial Award  

Awarded to New College, Faculty of Arts and Science students who are enrolled in the South Asian Studies (program or courses), and/or who are active in student politics, advocacy, and other equity-oriented co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.  Students must be in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need through the OTSS criteria (see application form).   Note that students are not required to be enrolled in a South Asian Studies program or course to apply.

This award supports New College students enrolled in formal exchanges, internships or service-learning initiatives in continental Africa.  Students must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated financial need as determined by OTSS guidelines (including Ontario residency).
