Are you planning to apply for graduate school, professional school, or awards, scholarships and fellowships, but unsure how to write a strong personal statement or application? If so, we’re here to help with the Writing Forward Initiative.
Offered by the New College Writing Centre (NCWC) and the New College Registrar’s Office (NCRO), the Writing Forward Initiative is a series of virtual workshops and drop-ins designed to help you move forward with confidence in your next chapter.
Set yourself up for success with:
- Tips and insights from experienced writing instructors
- Dedicated time and space to work on your statements
- Feedback at any stage, from getting started to fine-tuning your final draft
- A supportive community of peers to navigating similar next steps
- Focused guidance on awards and scholarships available, two sessions on funding opportunities and how to write compelling applications
Join Writing Forward: Lunch & Learn Virtual Workshops on select Fridays starting July 18 at 12 PM, followed by Get Writing! Drop-In Sessions at 1 PM.
