Season’s Greetings from New College

New College would like to wish everyone in our community a wonderful holiday season and a very happy new year!

As a reminder, The University of Toronto will be closed from end of day Dec 20, 2022 to 9:00am on January 2, 2023. 

Please note that the Winter term starts Monday, January 9th

If you are a student with questions about the academic term, please send your query to our Registrar’s Office at newcollege.registrar@utoronto.ca. Please note that the Registrar’s Office will be resuming remote services on January 2nd. They will respond as promptly as possible after that date. For students with urgent queries:

For students in residence, if you experience any issues over the break please contact the Don on duty or use the contacts provided to you by the Office of Residence Life on your winter break info card. If you urgently need assistance please call the number provided in your ORSL package, and/or use the resources listed at the bottom of this message. You can also email new.orsl@utoronto.ca, and inquiries will receive a response starting on January 2nd. If you are a student and may be experiencing any urgent difficulties not covered above, and you would like to speak with someone over the holidays, additional resources can be found at the bottom of this message.

For faculty and staff:

If you are a member of our faculty or staff and are experiencing challenges over the holiday period and would like to speak with someone, we would encourage you to visit the University’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) website as they have a number of resources available through the program. This program, offered through LifeWorks, is also available by phone at 1-855-597-2110 and is available to employees 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
