    What is included in the Cricut Maker borrowing service? 

    • Cricut Maker (version 1) with basic blades and wedding, lifting, and cutting tools
    • Cutting mat – various grip strengths available
    • Heat Press or mini heat press with heat resistant mat

    Project supplies (e.g. vinyl, cardstock, fabric, etc) are not included in the borrowing service. Borrowers supply their own project materials.

    Who is the Cricut Borrowing Service available to?

    This service is available to current students, staff, or faculty at the University of Toronto. Borrows must: 

    1. Have a valid UTORid
    2. Agree to the terms in and complete the liability form before they arrive to pick up a Cricut Maker and accessories

    How does the Cricut Maker borrowing service work? 

    1. Dream up a project! Follow the links below to learn more about Cricut and the projects it can help with 
    2. Download and install the Cricut Design Space app on your own device, create an account, explore the options, and design your first project 
    3. Gather the materials needed for your project (e.g. vinyl, cardstock, fabric, etc), determine which cutting mat you need to borrow and whether you require a Heat Press.
    4. Use the Bookings page to choose an available date to borrow a Cricut Maker and accessories for up to 3 days 
    5. Complete the Before you Borrow a Cricut Maker… liability form ahead of picking up the Cricut Maker and accessories
