Whether you’re writing an op-ed, grant proposal, administrative report, journal article, book, dissertation, magazine article, script, multimodal project, or something else entirely, we are here for you!
Write Now is a virtual drop in writing group that will give you the space to brainstorm, set writing goals, connect with your colleagues and boost productivity.
For 2025 Spring/Summer starting on May 7, this group will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. ET via Zoom!
We offer:
- Drop in any time and stay as long as you can, whether it’s 20 mins on a busy day or the full 3-hours
- Goal setting at the beginning of each session. You will have the opportunity to share as much or as little as you like about your writing goals for the week
- Quiet writing blocks (10 minute goal sharing; 50 minute writing block; 10 minute break; 50 minute writing block; 10 minute break; 40 minute writing block; 5-10 minutes sharing how our writing blocks went and chatting)
- Optional breakout rooms for writing discussions with your peers
- Guest lectures on helpful writing processes and resources – stay tuned on upcoming dates
