Enrollment for Fall 2023 will open at the time of course selection. You will be selecting your New One courses alongside your other courses.
Eligibility
All newly admitted first-year, full-time students in the Faculty of Arts and Science on the St. George campus are eligible to take a New One course. New One welcomes students from across the sciences, social sciences, humanities, arts, architecture and commerce, and from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Students interested in New One might also consider choosing New College as their home college. New One can connect students to many other activities, groups, programs and initiatives in New College. One aim of the program is to help first-year students find a home on campus, explore opportunities for getting involved in campus and community life, and build networks of friendship and support. Students who accept admission to another College One program cannot also be part of New One.
How Do I Choose a New One Course?
Consider the topics of New One: Learning without Borders Program. We recommend choosing one course for the first term and one course for the second to get maximum benefit from the program.
