General information about the Auditorium, including capacity, fees, and AV information, can be found on the New College Room Booking page.

The steps for booking the William Doo Auditorium are outlined below.

S.O.P.-Recognized Groups and NCSC-Recognized Groups

  • If your group IS NOT requesting event funding or communications support from the Office of Residence and Student Life, you can book the Auditorium by contacting nc.roombookings@utoronto.ca directly. Questions about the Auditorium and booking process can also be directed to nc.roombookings@utoronto.ca. You do not need to contact ORSL’s Student Life team.
  • If your group IS requesting event funding or communications support from the Office of Residence and Student Life, you must first contact ORSL’s Student Life team at new.studentlife@utoronto.ca. You will be asked to complete a program proposal form (as outlined in the “Booking Process” section below). Once a proposal has been approved, the Student Life team will connect you to the Auditorium booking staff, who will finalize the booking.

New College Student Centre groups and NCSC

These groups must contact ORSL’s Student Life team at new.studentlife@utoronto.ca before booking and will need to complete a program proposal form. This is required in order to get reduced booking rates.

Please note, NCSC-recognized student groups do not qualify for the NC Internal Group rate.

Booking Process

Program Proposals

  • 30 business days before the scheduled date for events involving alcohol;
