New College Summer Welcome Day – June 15, 2024
New College’s Summer Welcome Day is a half-day, in-person program that provides incoming students with an opportunity to learn more about New College and the University of Toronto. Join us to hear from New College staff and upper year students. At our Welcome Day, you will tour the New College campus, learn more about course selection and enrolment, hear from upper year students about their experiences at New College, have an opportunity to ask questions about your first year, and speak with staff and students face-to-face.
We will be holding two Welcome Day sessions on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The first session will run from 9:00am – 1:00pm. The second session will run from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Please note the afternoon and morning programs will offer the same content, with an overlap of offerings between 12:00pm – 1:00pm for both programs. You are welcome to bring up to 2 guests.
Both sessions will take place in person at the William Doo Auditorium in New College at 45 Willcocks Ave. Toronto, ON M5S 1C6.
Registration for Welcome Day 2024 will open in May 2024. More information will be posted here and emailed to all newly admitted students.
Unable to join us for Summer Welcome Day?
Summer Welcome Day is just one component of our Welcome Experience. Information provided in-person will also be available virtually. Online resources will be available to guide you on course selection and registration, program enrolment, degree planning, and more. There will also be Ask an Advisor group advising sessions hosted by the Registrar’s Office to support you with any questions you have regarding course enrolment and degree planning.
