Join us for an introduction to Zotero, a free application that helps you collect sources your research and writing, take notes and organize your thoughts, and manage your bibliographies and references while you write you papers, projects, and dissertations.

This session is designed for people who have never used Zotero, or have only a basic familiarity with the program.

At the end of this session you will be able to:

  1. Import PDFs and webpages from the internet into Zotero
  2. Use Zotero to read, highlight, and annotate PDFs in your person library
  3. Use folders and tags to organize your readings, thoughts, and annotations
  4. Use Zotero with Microsoft Word or Google Docs to automatically format and manage your references and bibliographies
